PRSSA National Conference Fundraising
The Wayne State University chapter of the Public Relations Student Society (PRSSA) of America is raising money to attend the PRSSA National Conference October 6-10. Our goal is to send our executive board to the conference, which is held in Boston.
With your support, our chapter will be able to attend the National Conference. Help us learn from the leaders in our field, including Judy Smith, the inspiration behind the show Scandal, and Jon Iwata, the senior vice president of marketing at IBM. We will attend multiple panels and sessions to bring back knowledge to our chapter of 60+ members. For the full program, please click here.
We are seeking $3,000 to help cover travel expenses for nine executive board members to attend this important opportunity. Funds raised will go toward transportation, lodging and food. We appreciate any help to make our way to Boston!
Our student organization is dedicated to advancing the network and professional development of public relations students. We hold panels, workshops, agency tours and more. Attending the National Conference will bring new skills, ideas and more to our chapter. Our organization supports our members in gaining skills, internships and real-world experience which will help them achieve their career goals after graduation.
